
Breaded White Fish with Homemade Tartar Sauce
Do you ever get a craving for crispy, breaded fish? If so, do I have a recipe for you. I love to serve this Breaded fish with my homemade tartar sauce, my Perfect Roast Potatoes and peas.
Breaded Fish Ingredients
- 4 fillets of white fish (I used frozen sustainable Basa)
- ¾ cups almond flour
- 1 tablespoon Old Bay fish seasoning
- ¼ cup parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Tartar Sauce Ingredients
- ½ cup mayo, homemade or store bought
- 2 tablespoons relish
- 1 tablespoon dill chopped
- 1 dill pickle, diced
- 2 tablespoons capers, chopped
Step 1: Instructions for Breading the Fish
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees f.
In a shallow plate mix almond flour, old bay seasoning, parsley, salt and pepper.
In a second shallow plate add the eggs and whisk.
Place each fish fillet in the egg wash and dip in almond flour mixture. Place the fish on a parchment lined baking sheet. Repeat until all the fillets are covered in the almond flour mixture.
Bake in the oven for 10 minutes, flip and continue to cook for another 8 minutes.
Step 2: Instructions for the Tartar Sauce
Meanwhile in a medium size bowl mix the mayo, relish, dill, pickle and capers.
Step 3: Instructions for Serving
Remove the fish from the oven and serve with tartar sauce, Perfect roast potatoes and peas. Enjoy!
